Governance

In 2004, Paris-Dauphine University was granted Grand Etablissement status. This status brings with it a selective student admissions procedure and the right to award “Grand Etablissement Degrees” (DGE) in addition to the standard national state degrees. DGE awards a Master grade.

The university has several academic Departments. Scientific and academic decisions or proposals regarding these departments are put to the Council. The Council elects its Director.

The Departement of Masters in Sciences of Organization (MSO) manages the Management, Economics, Law, Political Science and Sociology Masters courses.

MSO Department’s Council is chaired by its Director, Professor Jean-Marc Siroën. It is made up of representatives of the faculty, student body, staff and members from outside the department.
