A selective department

The Department of Masters in Sciences of Organizations or Graduate School MSO offers a wide range of courses on two-year (four-semester), Master 1 and Master 2 programmes. Some courses, such as “Asset Management” (Gestion du patrimoine) or “Accounting, control auditing” (Comptabilité, contrôle, audit - CCA), are three-year programmes (B3-M1-M2).

Our selective approach makes for excellence. It meets the Paris-Dauphine University’s academic objective to provide general, multidisciplinary and highly specialized courses for small groups of students combining professional skills with research.

94% of students awarded their Master degree in 2009 were in work 30 months later maximum (APEC survey). A number beyond the national average. The average duration to find first job is of 2 months.

Every year, our Masters 1 and most of our Masters 2 programmes are open to top students from other establishments.

The MSO Department currently has 3,500 students. Around half of our students are from other French and foreign establishments, universities, top engineering schools, leading business schools, and institutes of political studies. A full 60% of the Masters 2 intake are non-Dauphine students.

We use world-class criteria to select students based on their application, interview and, where relevant, submission of a written work. An average one-third of these students are accepted onto the Master’s 2 programme.
